For those of you Little Mixers who love locals Jade Thirlwall and Perrie Edwards, you would have treasured Little Mix’s Salute Tour as they ended it with a big explosion.
They local girls expressed how happy they were to be here in their city for the Little Mix tour and how the songs were for their family and friends here in the North East.
Little Mix were supported by three acts, one being MoMusic, before they came on stage.
The girls opened their tour to the sound of sirens and fire blazing to start their first song of their debut single Salute.
They sang most hits from their new Salute Album including Nothing Feels Like You, About a Boy and Good Enough, with the outstanding vocals from the fans favourite song, Towers.
They also played their most popular hits Change your Life, where the crowd held up signs saying “Thank you for teaching us to be strong”, and DNA where the girls dressed up in matrix style outfits.
A mash up of some chart songs were then put into a dance routine before the ladies burst into the songs, Little Me and Move.
Closing the concert with their number one hit, Wings, the South Shields girls were left in tears as they were overwhelmed with their hometown.
